The University of Oregon thrives on global perspectives, global engagement, and the rich exchange of ideas that can come only from a vibrant international curriculum, strong overseas study programs, and the presence on our campus of students and scholars from the world's many cultures.

Vice Provost’s Internationalization Fund

Provides high utility unrestricted funds for UO international priorities, special projects, seed money for new programs and supplemental resources for otherwise underfunded areas.

Ghent International Student Scholarship Fund

Honoring Kenneth Ghent, the UO’s first international student advisor and former leader of international outreach, this scholarship helps students with financial need and academic promise. The fund is also used to assist international students affected by unforeseen personal crises, currency devaluation or natural disasters.

Mills Study Abroad Scholarship Fund

Scholarships for overseas study, research and internships provide greater access to students interested in preparing for the global workforce. This general fund for UO students on education abroad programs is named for Tom Mills, who worked tirelessly to create opportunities for students while leading UO international initiatives over three decades.
